I was not impressed with the demo. Sure it is better than the vanilla version, but it still feels miles away from the first 2. I want this game to be good since I love the series, but it doesn't strike me as that. I'll probably get it when it hits around 20 USD. I still play the first 2 games often and they never get old so I'll continue to invest time in them till the next one.
Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS
I played the demo and the controls just felt....off. I have never played a NJ game before, so I'm not comparing it to previous iteration but I just couldn't shake this feeling where the response didn't feel 1:1 which made it rather annoying.
Plus it just felt like I'm doing the same thing over and over again without much variation. Whatever amount I played of it made it feel very monotonous.
Being my first ever Ninja Gaiden, or my first ever non-parody hack n' slash (natch No More Heroes 1 & 2), i thought it was pretty good too. I can't compare to the apparent travesty that was the original version, however.
It's a good "popcorn game." Don't take it too seriously and have fun "disarming" homunculi.

It gets better as you upgrade your moveset, get new weapons, and fight different enemies

Oh yesss. Boob physics + sixaxis support.
they made it more bouncy than sigma 2.

I bought it two days ago, it's very good. I'm on the fence to declare it better than Sigma 2 'cause the atrocious difficulty settings are annoying. But in gameplay & presentation it's definitely terrific!
If you bought and hated NG3 and still support the devs by getting Razor's Edge first week, then I'd say you made a huge mistake.
I liked the demo, and the game has Kasumi, so its one of the better choices you made.
