the symbol buttons on the right and the d-pad arrows are all analog. You push them in at a gradient so they determine pressure. Been like that since Dualshock 2.

Ahh, so only the analogue functionality has been removed, not the buttons themselves?



I don't care if it is limited to four. I have never played with more than four people on my console anyways. Also, how many people own 7 controllers?

Yes, now it is digital. Simple on and off, like it use to be and Xbox is. I just hope the buttons retain the same resistance to them.
