best game of the generation imo.. im hopeing for dark souls 2 they make better equipment and weapons that can only be found in the newgame+ modes

not my cup of tea,but good for those that want 2 play it.

I made it about half way through Demon's Souls and couldn't continue because I was just not enjoying myself at all. Maybe I'll give it a try since I'll have a lot of free time this Summer with nothing other than LoU coming out and just farm that wraith in level 5 until I can upgrade everything lol. Seriously though I just hated the camera angles when you tried to target stuff indoors I couldn't see shit. Also I think there should be checkpoints before the boss since they're normally the ONLY hard parts of the levels (other than those octopus guards they suck!) and they make you trudge through half an hour of easy ass enemies to get back to them on most levels after you get killed by a boss that's actually difficult. I already beat all these guys and lost no health, so why am I doing this again? What does this prove? It's not more difficult it's just tedious. If I make it through a section perfectly (a large section so it's not a fluke) then give me a damn checkpoint!

ahh! I love this game! its in my top 5 :) glad to see some fairly decent games going free on plus lately!

That's cool, loved demon souls.

I'm not really happy. I downloaded it and it charged me 20 dollars. My PS+ doesn't expire until August.
I'm gonna have to call Sony later today.

There aren't checkpoints, but as you advance you should make sure to unlock the short cuts back to the beginning or different routes get you there faster. They will be invaluable if you die or head back to that world to go somewhere.
