Forums - Nintendo - Place your bets! How many more old ports, remakes, and directors cuts will Nintendo and 3rd parties force down our throats this year?

DKCR 3d is a pathetic joke though. Seriously, whoever thought that was a good idea...

The kind of people who like to maker money. ;)

I suppose it's better to get enhanced ports and remakes like Need for Speed Most Wanted U, Trine 2 Director's Cut, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate than just vanilla ports. I'm playing through Most Wanted U now, and it's awesome, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who owns a Wii U.

That said, I am bitterly disappointed at the lack of new games. I haven't tried ZombiU yet, doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but I was expecting to be playing Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 by now, or at least for them to be coming up instead of AWOL.

I'm pissed off that they waste time on a port of DKCR when they should just make a sequel to it.

As long as the sequel is on Wii U instead of 3DS, I'd be all over that!

DKCR was the best 2D platformer since the 16 bit era in my book.

I actually really like the new artstyle for the Zelda WW remake. Looks like a Pixar movie.

But yeah I'm not a huge fan of what are essentually HD ports being given priority over new games in their series. I did enjoy the GodofWar HD collection, but that make a bit more sense to me because the stories are so heavily linked to the PS3 games it was a good idea to have all the games on the same console.

I would kill for a Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 HD collection though.

By using my sophisticated algorithm, I would deduce 7.
