Also, today Rare very inconsistent with games quality (Kameo, PDZ, new Banjo, Viva Pinata was great though).

even if they did that. the IP would still be owned by microsoft. the only way Rare or the staff of rare can make a banjo game with nintendo is if nintendo buys rare

Microsoft own the rights, but if they could make some sort of spiritual successor that could be good, certainly a better use of talent than the Kinect games

I wish Nintendo bought back Rare's IP's, some of them were synonymous with Nintendo back in the day and many thought they actually were Nintendo franchises.

I doubt Nintendo fanbase of today even know the franchise exists.
