Clearly my vote goes to GameCube, it is the Nintendo console with the worst first-party output. The only big title that didn't disappoint me was Metroid Prime. Although way inferior to Wave Race 64 I also enjoyed Wave Race: Blue Storm. Super Mario Sunshine and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker were a huge downgrade from Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. And what is worse, in that generation Star Fox franchise was killed with a shitty outsourced title.

Virtual Boy was just a pile of trash so I don't take it into account.

I apologize in advance for my bad english.

Well, let me say that I loved all the other Nintendo systems and I still own them all, but there's one I hate, and it is the Wii ... so much so that I will NEVER buy another Nintendo home console again. Microsoft and Sony provided me with all I needed this gen and I don't expect that to change.

Easily the wii.

Among consoles, GCN is the weakest, followed by the Wii.

Didn't like the Gamecube's output of games, it's the only gen where the Nintendo console wasn't my favorite (Dreamcast, PS2 preferred). The Wii was slightly better, since I value local multi, but not by much. Even so, I think the PS3/360 are worse, last gen was probably my least favorite yet, with the consoles going in this watered-down-PC direction. I suppose it's due to Japan moving to handhelds, the DS (and I assume PSP) had a ton of great games.

WiiU, why no poll option?

The Gamecube.

It had the worst console Zelda, the worst (and so far only bad) 3D Mario, and it destroyed Starfox.

Read the OP ;)

"No 3DS or Wii U either. Their lifecycles are far from done."

Wii everything about it just felt halfassed, barely more powerful than GC, the Wiimote, innovative my ass, their was motion tech games before that and just like the ones before it, it was mediocore at best, flat out didnt work at worst. The online...Ninty didnt even try. Did we really need so much WiiSports/Fit and Just dance knockoffs? There are only so many games that could be made with that subject material.

I dont care what anyone says IMHO the first party was probably one of the worst. WiiSeries does nothing for me, for reasons with the wiimote i already mentioned and they all felt shallow. TP was a multiplat SS was not all that and IMHO might be the worst of the 3d Zeldas. Yes i know it saw the return of 2d Mario to the console but that doestn mean anything to me when it isnt a better game than 3 or World, just save my money and play one of those again. Brawl that online was atrocious. Mario Kart, they took the challenge out to make it more accesible, i get it. but ill stick to DD then. Really the only franchies that were better to me, was Sin and Punishment and 3d Mario. The only game that i really enjoyed was GE and that got a better port on the HDs anyway.

Easy there, big fella. Take a deep breath

no im good, i just wanted to go in detail cause i didnt want to be one of those "Wii sucks guys" just cause. I want to make my dissapointment clear.

Gameboy Color, because I prefer home consoles and didn't own an original Gameboy. It's the Nintendo system I owned the least games for.

For home consoles, the GameCube edges out the Nintendo 64 in the battle for least favorite. The Wii was a great return to form, but Nintendo tossed it all out the window with the Wii U. Although does it really matter? We live in an age where it's Nintendo or nothing.

nah, thats where you live (and a few others)

The GameCube.

Nintendo's worst output in general, with disappointing Mario and Zelda games in particular by series standards, and the departure of Rare, who helped to virtually kill off Star Fox in the process. It's the only Nintendo console where I can say third party games offered more memorable moments, and it was responsible for me taking a 2.5 year hiatus from all gaming.
