Why not? they've already gone leaps and bounds ahead of themselves. Microsoft charges you for basic online features, yet they can't even put some of that profit in first party games, games at discounted prices, free, or access to all betas for Plus subscribers. Microsoft has done nothing but rip people off the entire generation, and you let them. They've done nothing but alienated themselves from developers insuring that the PS3/PS4 will be the main platform for indie games/mmos. Microsoft doesn't even allow developers to give away DLC or content away for free. They took one of their greatest studios Rare, canceled Kameo 2 and put them on Kinect slave labor.

Microsoft has put absolutely nothing into the 360. They first started this generation trying to get ahead of Sony, they did that, and afterwards its as if the 360 was discontinued mid generation because they stopped supporting it. Going by how they acted and what they did this generation the "720" is for all intenses and purposes not even under consideration for a purchase.

When was the last AAA full retail game that wasn't Halo, Forza, or Gears? i'll wait.

At this point it seems they're getting desperate. 4 new franchise installments on 1 system? Any next Gears should have been on the next console. They have absolutely nothing going into the Next Xbox beyond Halo 5, another rehashed Gears title no doubt. Who knows how long Halo will survive them milking it. COD has already stole a lot of the casuals away from Halo.

Microsoft does not care about games or gamers. If the game isn't a major seller like Halo, they won't even invest in it. Not all Sony titles are big sellers, and they still support every single one of their IPs. Its absolutely sickening that Microsoft bought Rare and did absolutely nothing with them. I would have rather Sony or Nintendo buy them and still have them releasing stuff beyond kinect crap.
