Wasn't this week Golden Week or something like that in Japan? It's probably doesn't help the home consoles as much as the portable systems ( since the Japanese would be traveling instead on staying home). The Wii U sales might be better in America and the West since a large number of purchases were being held off until Monster Hunter and maybe Lego City.

Ugh... It's hard to say, things just started looking up for PSVita. On the other hand Wii U sells as of late haven been underwater. I guess i would say the PSVita but not by much, and if Wii U sells more I wouldn't think by much ether.

Well this week is the HMV sale in UK, will this make a difference? It was sold out on Monday, but I got one yesterday.

Wow, I was right afterall! WiiU narrowly tops Vita. The best part is, both systems did (relatively) great, and much better than I aticipated.

yeap and both should be undertracked. Vita by around 2-5k and wii u 5-15k! Next week Vita will get outsold by wii u. Europe should do better imo japan will double sales (wario game plus DQX bundle)

Close call but a win as a win. On a side note, the spike was bigger than I thought as well and the Vita is holding up better than I thought too. Still room for small surprises in Q1!
