Many people wanted him as a playable character, but is is a bit too big for it in my opinion. So does anyone think he'll be a boss?

Ridley would be a perfect boss for SSBB

I mean each level is supposed to have their own boss, a perfect Metroid boss would be Ridley, just as a great boss for a Earthbound stage would be Pokey, and maybe K Rool for a Donkey Kong stage.

Mother Brain would also make a great boss for the Metroid stage...

While I don't believe Ridley will be playable, the argument about his size is somewhat flawed. Have you seen Olimar in the Pikmin games? He's even tiny compared to a regular sized battery. Now he's almost as tall as Mario in SSBB.

Ridley will most likely be a boss. That's what I believe as well.
