Tomb Raider didnt do well for them? Jesus, what did they expect?

Also - Someone has to say it. Dragon Quest X shouldnt have been a Wii exclusive.

I hope the guy responsible for killing Vita support at crapcom gets fired asap. I'm not buying a single crapcom game until they start supporting my favourite console. The money they are losing just from me is growing pretty much every month, it's the only reason I didn't buy games during the RE sale on PSN.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

This really goes to show, it doesn't matter how popular your company is or how many "megaton" "million seller" game IPs you have.

You can still cock it up big time. You are not too big to fail.

Certain other game companies should take particular note.

Don't worry some companies are to big to fail cough GE, GM, and other outdated American companies.

So the resignation of 1 man will make that big an impact...?

Really...?

I'll just wait and see.

Well, I can't say that I saw this one coming unlike the EA one.

I can only hope that the next CEO has the vision and capacity to bring Square-Enix back on track.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I think people are overestimating how much input Wada had on the creative end.

That said. Square-Enix's first problem was making the head of Square CEO in the first place.

SE only happened because Square was a failing company. Enix... they always knew how to make a profit.

Let's see how it goes with the new CEO, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. He may even stray further away from quality AAA games.

Not really. The merger was going to happen well before The Spirits Within, largely because Enix wanted to piggyback on Square's penetration of the western markets. TSW being such a bust actually put the merger in jeopardy, though it eventually went through anyway.

Wada is / was the definition of mismanagement. This is a fantastic news
.... Mr. Wada, please, don't come back :)
