Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive and that has a lot of people pissed off. So whenever I see people complaining I can’t stop myself from telling them that Sony and Microsoft didn’t want it on their formats. Nintendo saved Bayonetta 2. Platinum head Hideki Kamiya has once again stressed that fact to make sure you understand.

Kamiya tweeted the above earlier today, when asked whose idea it was to make the game Wii U exclusive. As you can see, it wasn’t anyone’s idea, it was the team’s only option.

So you all understand now yes? Platinum aren’t dicks and Nintendo aren’t being selfish and keeping them game for themselves.

We can hope that once Sony and Microsoft see the final product they’ll reconsider their decision and welcome Bayonetta 2 with open arms.

I find it funny how people still harbor some ridiculous hope that the game will be ported to other consoles.

Its just not possible.

Saying SONY and MS didn't want it on their consoles is a stretch. More like they didnt want to pay for it.

That... is not how it works.

Nintendo will keep this game close to heart. Unless there are holes in the contract, I don't see how this game can come to other consoles.

I would not say that. SEGA is still the holder of the IP and we have no idea the agreement between SEGA, Nintendo & Plat. It definitely wont happen within a year of Wii U release

Didn't we already know this like months ago? why is it being reconfirmed again? o_O; The earth is sphere shaped, we need to get over it lol.
