Do they really? I mean Starhawk, LBP Karting, PSABR and Twisted Metal don´t scream quality to me. I meant Nintendo has the potential to blow us away with their games. Just like they did every generation. 


I said that Nintendo games are high qualtiy, but it's probably not enough to carry them. And going by Metacritic, Sony has made 12 90+ games for the PS3, whereas Nintendo made 8 for the Wii. That to me shows Sony are doing pretty well with their first party games.

What 2012 Nintendo games blew you away in quality compared with those 4 PS3 games you listed?  New Super Mario Bros 2/U?  Mario Party 9?  Paper Mario Sticker Star?  NintendoLand?

2012 was a snorefest pretty much across the board in terms of critical/fan reception.  Sony put out stuff like LittleBigPlanet Vita & Gravity Rush that was better received than those games you listed.  And this year is looking like a step up for Sony over last year; just like Nintendo's schedule this year is already looking better than 2012.  

I don't quite understand what you were going for with that post.

Plenty in Japan though on 3DS.

At this point I'd have to backtrack to figure out what point you were making, but there's not really much to discuss if we're talking about the Wii's 2012 lineup, so I'll pass. No offense.

I just thought there might be a reason for you telling me that Last Story & Pandora's Tower came out in 2012.

I was originally talking about 2012 lineups across the board being pretty "meh".  But it doesn't really matter now, anyway!

Not really, just giving you a chance to rub it in that we still haven't got the latter over here.

2012 was a little bit slow, especially compared to 2011 and 2013. This is shaping up to be one of the best years I've seen for games -- I think it'll top 2011 easily.
