I expect the Wii U to win almost entirely because of the holidays.

Probably Wii U. Nintendo consoles have amazing holiday sales in all regions so that will give it an advantage over the Vita. If Vita can keep selling 2-3x as much as Wii U over the next few months, then maybe it could outsell the Wii U.

Vita if and ONLY if another COD is released along with at least the annoucement of Monster Hunter 4th Portable.

Either that or the WiiU doesn't have a Mario Kart by the holidays.

Once the heavy hitters come out on Wii U, it will do much better numbers. Vita remains to be seen since I didn't really see it doing well even before it launched, would be nice if it picks up and gets the games I might want though, with price drops or buy used etc, I might pick one or 2 up if it has my kind of games in the future as that's what I did with the PSP(waited before I picked up 2 used).

The Wii U is bound to have at least a decent holiday, the Vita not so much and I think the effect of the price cut will be long gone come summer.

Vita should win Japan but I expect Wii U to win the world. It has a lot more going for it especially later in the year.
