No. It actually sold hell a lot in Europe, but journalists did a good work in promoting it : everything else went completely under the radar. The good thing is that SquareEnix will at last give us some Japanese games now. I'm tired of the Eidos things.

Not really, 1M is a lot of copies sold for such a heavily ridiculed franchise at this point.

Despite borrowing heavily from Uncharted (and, well, Lost) it's still a very well made, hugely entertaining game. It actually improved on the Uncharted formula, a lot, but it didn't quite have the compelling story or secondary characters of Uncharted 2 (fwiw, I do think TR is superior to Uncharted 1 and 3). Combat is actually somewhat satisfying in this title, something they never got right in the Uncharted series.

I think the game will have legs for a while.

The sales seem pretty good to me. The series is basically climbing out of the gutter, so the numbers are rather impressive imo.

Those are excellent sales. No idea why you expected almost a million on each system.

Really? IMHO Eidos is the only thing under SE that has been putting out at the very least consistent quality games, wish i could say the same for the Japanese devs, at least on consoles, cant remember a game they made that i would consider really good. Still waiting on Versus13, 14 was a bust. and so on.

Yes I'm disappointed it sold that much since it's going in a direction I'm not fond of.

very overrated game. I already played this in 2009... its called Uncharted 2
