Bold proves to me that we (all of us) on these sales forum will find absolutely anything to explain higher sales. Usually bold is used to explain why people wouldn't buy a game.

I still have my copy of the original 3DS version. I´m not really interested in giving this game a 2nd run on the WiiU (looking forward to Pikmin 3, Monster Hunter and Lego Cities instead), but I´d strongly recommend it to anyone who didn´t played it on the 3DS. This game is gorgeous and well worthy the money. Raid mode is a blast to play.

Definitely not changing the fact that WiiU Revelations will end up a tiny fraction of the total sales. You just have to look at the history of multiplatform games like AC3 or BO2 : costumer behavior doesn't change that radically overnight. Those preorders numbers are broken, that's all.

Maybe it's just you, but I've seen a LOT worse from you guys. (There are still some of you that think Vita will outsell 3DS.)

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
It`s surprising.
To me, Wii U would be behind in pre-orders seeing as it`s only natural to Wii U owners to own a 3DS - of all 3 home console owners, of course.
So, this is good news. And if it translates into sales even better.
Not to forget that Wii only owners only had RE 0 and RE4 (a port) as a mainline RE game to play, whilst Xbox 360 and PS3 had RE5, RE: ORC and RE6. And these games are closer to the launch of Revelations which might also lead to some saturation and some disappointment still needing to settle down.

When theres not much on the menu you order whats available.
Are there any news on how the WiiU port is being handled? Is the Gamepad using the 3DS 4:3 bottom screen (just like MH, no?) or have they done something new?
And 3DS/WiiU player. Which would you choose: Revelations, ZombiU or both?

Don't ask for things you don't want the answer to.
Unsurprising since the 3DS market has Wii U cross over appeal, and also the fact that RER is a proper RE game, not a shooter.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
