Here's another juicy piece of victory for WiiU fans. Although it is still months away (May), Resident Evil Revelations is making some solid preordering progress. It's #4 on the top selling WiiU games on Amazon (meaning that it's still in the 500 region, but still good).

And guess what? It's outselling the PS3 and XBox 360 ports. In other words, the PS3 version is WAAAAAAY down, selling at the #1,863 rank. It's #44 on the top selling PS3 games on Amazon. The XBox 360 version? It's #59 on the Best Selling XBox360 games, and in the #2738 rank.

So what does this mean? It means that we have another potential hit for WiiU in the form of this HD port. Here's another reason to why the game is gaining traction on Amazon. It's cheaper. It currently retails at $39.99, while the PS3 and XBox 360 ports are at $49.99, respectively.

Yet another sign of evidence that things are starting to tip the scales in WiiU's favor.

also maybe due to some of us still trying to get over resident evil 6, not a bad game but not ready to try another resident evil game yet. I guessing alot of other people are the same

2 things might have attributed this.

1.WiiU games drought. Easier to get noticed if competition is scarce.

2.3DS owners who may also own a WiiU either decided to give this game a 2nd time buy or buy it this time around when they at 1st did not on the 3DS.

I think it already having a fan base for the original on the 3DS is kinda key here.

That and RE6 might have left a bad taste in 360/PS3 owner's mouth.

Absolutely. This is good news for the WiiU as of right now. So far, most of the other multiplat pre-ordered titles I've seen, such as Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV have the WiiU ports at the lower end of the spectrum, pre-order wise. Hopefully that will change as the time for both games to premiere progresses.

Are there any pre-order numbers? I would like to know what the difference in numbers is.

Sadly, no.  Only rank numbers.
