Forums - Nintendo - What do you want to see from Nintendo at E3?

For Wii U

Smash Bros.
Zelda HD (not Zelda WW)
New IP(s)
Metroid in some form
3D Mario would be nice.

The first 3 will get me to spend on a Wii U. The last 2 are extras for me.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

"Hello everyone, we are becoming a third party developer company."

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
And everyone shits their panties for different reasons.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=221391&page=1

I only really care about potential Wii U titles:

Zelda Wind Waker HD- Due October 2013
Pokemon Stadium 3 - Due November 2013
Mario Kart U- Due November 2013
Beyonetta 2, Due Early 2014
Retro Studio Wii U title full gameplay demo- Due spring 2014
Supersmash Bros Universe- Due summer 2014
Project X full Trailer- Due Fall 2014
3D Mario trailer- Due fall 2014
And at least 1 new IP....

I want the same as every other year and the same I ask for the other conferences:

LESS TALK AND MORE GAMES!

Now, more specifically talking about Nintendo I'd say

-Playable demos of all the announced games (Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Zelda Wind Waker, X, Shin Megami..., etc)
-Endless Ocean Wii U (pleeease)
-1 new IP for the WiiU targeted for the "core" gamers.

Is it too much to ask for?

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

This is fun to think about. I have some things I want to see as a gamer, and some I want to see as a Nintendo shareholder, things that would help them be successful. My perfect scenario:

1st party games:

-Super Mario Universe is shown. It is innovative and beautiful. Stunning visuals. Open world to some extent, but with classic style levels. Major MiiVerse connectivity. Uses some unique gamepad multiplayer that is fun. Releases November 2013.
-MarioKart U is shown. Same as above, except not "open world". Releases December 2013.
-X is fully revealed. Epic visuals and sound, intuitive touchscreen controls of secondary characters. Gets major 1st party push as hardcore title. Has multiplayer. Launches December 2013 or 1st half 2014.
-Zelda WWHD coming Sept 21, 2013.
-Zelda U is teased, visuals are breathtaking, action is fact-paced, art style is realistic/shadow of the colossus style, open world, multiplayer control of some kind - maybe a sidekick. Coming fall 2014.
-Retro's game is revealed as a new sci-fi shooter IP, or a complete re-thinking of Metroid. Co-op and vs online multiplayer. Awesome visuals and setting. Release October 2013.
-F-ZeroU in development through a 3rd party partnership, release 2014.
-F-Zero GX HD e-shop release fall 2013.
-Wii Sports U released October 2013. Uses 2 gamepads.
-A new, unique IP released November 2013 that uses 2 gamepads in cool multiplayer ways.
-Smash Bros 4 is teased with amazing visuals, will release summer 2014.
-Last Story 2 is announced to be in development.

1st party other:

-WiiU Basic no longer on sale.
-WiiU Deluxe now $299.
-WiiU White 32gig with WiiSportsU, Wiimote and Nunchuck on sale October 2013, $349.
-Previous WiiU buyers get free download of F-Zero GX HD.
-WiiU Black COD MW4 bundle with pro controller, fall 2013 $349.
-New version of 3DS with sleek black or white finish revealed, has upgraded WiiU connectivity, possibly can act as a second interface.

3rd Party:

-COD: MW4 on WiiU.
-Watch_Dogs and ACIV shown.
-Final Fantasy XV is coming to Wii U.
-Dragon Quest X launching in the west August 2013.
-GTA V launching on WiiU the same day as other systems.
-Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes coming to WiiU.
-Destiny coming to WiiU.

Also, a slew of 1st and 3rd party quick-play apps to be released. These cheap downloads offer a tablet-like experience.

Most of this I think is likely, some possible and others a bit dreaming. I can't wait for e3 though!

Around the Network

Retros game
X at 90% development
Zelda Majoras remake for 3DS
realistically Smash, MKart and Galaxy 3, daydreaming Endless ocean U, F-Zero U, ExcitetruckU, Mario Tennis U, Mario golf U, Mario Football U...etc.
New IP
Project CARS

Also, the show opens with Reggie speeding onto the stage in a MarioKart, red and blue lights flashing, siren whaling in the background. He zooms into a garage door, then comes out in a Kart that is a different color and the cop lights and sounds stop. He then anounces GTA V is coming to WiiU, and leads into MarioKartU.

The title more or less says it all. How would you like Nintendo's conference to pan out? What announcements or reveals do you want to see?

I'm desperate for...
...a playable demo of X, a final title for the project, and a projected release window.
...anything I can possibly find out about Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.
...Zelda 3DS.
...anything concerning Retro Studios.
...how the third-party holiday line-up will shape up. I know that Ubisoft will be present. Is there anyone else hoping to capitalize on Wii U's prophecied comeback?
...more Reggie memes.

But in reality, I expect a piss-poor showing from everyone again.

This year seems bound to be a major improvement over last year.  Nintendo has tons of announced Wii U games that just need release dates, and if 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and Wind Waker are all coming out before the end of the year, I think Wii U is saved.

A confirmation of Retro's game would be nice, even if it's not gonna make it til 2014, we should at least get a reveal trailer.   X demo would be nice, too.

3DS should have some nice announcements too, like a Zelda from Grezzo who made the OoT 3D remake, as well as dates for Mario & Luigi 4, and a playable demo of Pokemon X/Y.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

For Wii U:

Release date for Mario 3D
Release date for Mario Kart
Footage of Smash Bros.
Retro project reveal
Wii Sports 3 reveal
Zelda teaser
GCN games on Virtual Console

For 3DS:

Zelda reveal
Metroid reveal

I always forget that is a thing lol.  Nintendo hasn't showed or mentioned it since the E3 2011 concept video.  I would imagine if they're making it at all, that it's gotta be coming out this year.

Part of what I want to see is what they´ll be showing..new 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Smash, the usual stuff, but I also want to see some new games..games that have nothing to do with the known faces of Mario & Co.

Hopefully, that´s where Retro comes in.
