If it proves to have good legs.  Monster Hunter might have found a good competitor.

Watch them release an "ultimate edition" of the game right before Monster Hunter 4 release on 3DS this summer :D

It didn't drop at all. It actually increased. And it somehow managed to outsell the 3DS week. 

Let's see what excuse people make this week.

I actually had quoted some comments and rather mentioned about staying tuned for upcoming week's numbers. It was surprising as to how many tried to write it off as a price-cut spike. Just need the right softwares coming its way.

Weren't there reports of sell outs the previous week though? But these people denied that as well lol


No, they said it didn't matter because the Vita was selling crap before hand. :p

I wouldn't get too happy guys. The Vita has seen its biggest release of the year right off the back of a price cut, and outsells the 3DS for the first (maybe last?) time.

This is good news, but it's not the norm. Don't expect it to happen again.

No, but it's good to celebrate this success. I'm not downplaying it, I'm just saying don't expect it to be the norm.

If anything, this is reason enough to get happy this week, because it's unlikely to happen again any time soon.
