Dreamcast rocked.  It's argueable it was the second best console of it's generation.  

I wouldn't of did it, because I can't imagine you got a good deal...

The money is already spent, may as well hold on to the Wii U and get the classic Nintendo only exclusive games that you'll only get on the Wii U....

and buy the PS4 or 720 later.

I would say you didn't make a terrible choice. PS3 has a fantastic library, even if it's in it's later years. The console is still getting great support from Sony, so it's age isn't so much a factor just yet.

Should have kept the Wii U until holiday, then sold it for a PS4. Then again, PS4 may fall victim to the same fate as Wii U, with a few early titles followed by a long drought.

PS3 was the safe choice. No one can fault you for this decision. Good luck; enjoy.

It was a good decision if you are not interested in Super Mario U, Mario Kart U, SSB4, X, Wind Waker HD, Yarn Yoshi, or Retro's game. However, if you are not interested in those games I don't know why you bought the system. All consoles have droughts early on. Also, you could have gotten a lot more money if you sold it on eBay.

You should have kept your WiiU. Buying a PS3 now is a bit silly since the PS4 will be out in 7 months.

I am thinking about trading in my Xbox and Wii for a WiiU but then again what games could I get besides of NSMBU. I know people are saying you can play Wii games on the U as well but then I wouldn´t need to sell my Wii.

I think it was no mistake. There are so many phantastic PS3 game and most of the are already available as Platinum or Essential so the don´t really cost a lot. And you can buy one again after the price drops amd more games get released.

A true gamer doesn't trade in a console after a couple months, simply because there's a dry spell of software (which always happens in the beginning of a console lifecycle). If you expect ps4 and nextbox to come out with a plethora of brand-new exclusive software and content, then get ready to be thoroughly disappointed.

Just like the ps3 and 360 took a baseball bat to the Wii in sales numbers. Or how the psp shattered the kneecaps of the DS with a golf club. And currently how the Vita is taking a sledgehammer to the face of the 3ds. Man, Nintendo is just getting destroyed, lol.
