Drakengard 1 was one of my favorite games on PS2, and 2 was also pretty good. This is definitely an unexpected announcement.

I have some memories of playing the first one. It was weird, really, really weird. I played it like when I was 9 and it was a strange experience. If memory serves me correctly, it is a hack n' slash mixed with RPG and the main character had his tongue cut off due to a deal with a dragon...or something like that. Then there was a priest who was your friend and also a paedophile. Really strange game xD
HOLY SHIT! I effing love these games! Drakengard 1 and 2 were among my favorite PS2 games. The combat had it's issues but over all the games were fun and the story and characters were pretty freakin unique. Nier was awesome too, i'm like freaking out right now lol. Though I wonder who will develop it.
EDIT: would rather it be for PS4 though :/

| Cub said: So.. Is it a PS3 exclusive? I don't want to be excited for nothing. |
Do you mean that you'll only be exited if it's exclusive to PS3 or you can't play it unless it's for other platforms? If it's the former, lol, that's messed up.
