I like this thread and you get a +1 in respect points from me even though we are no longer friends. This is the last thread I will comment in for awhile. I view Native Americans as being "the most close" to "god". They respected nature. They had no land ownership. I despise most humans these days. I despise you along with myself. I want to think humans are good but they disappoint me every time. This world would be better off without humans. Humans are a virus on this planet. We serve no good and no purpose. I hate myself and I wish I never existed.

Disease wasn't the only factor that destroyed the Native Americans.

If the Native Americans could have gotten past their grudges against each other and united as one during the 1812 war they could have stopped the Americans from advancing west, and the U.S. could very well have ended at the appalachian mountains.

Before the Revolutionary war, Britain thought they never had to worry about the American people revolting, because they believed that they could never unite as one and thus were not a threat. They also made measures throughout their rule to keep tensions high between colonies and forbid united meetings and such. They did though bring all the colonies together to fight the French/Indian war. That was the first time that all the colonies worked together, and it was ironically by Englands behest. Later America would unite over the whole taxes situation and finally revolting against England.

But it was all about them all coming together. The Indians never were able to, despite the efforts of Tecumseh to unite all his people against the Whites. More often than not in the Indians history the white people used native american grudges against each other. Say you have 3 Indian tribes, "A", "B", and "C". They all hated each other. the white people would attack "A". The Indians "B" or "C" would help the white people destroy "A" because they were hated long time rivals. Then later the Whites would attack "B", the very same tribe that just got done helping htem years earlier. Ironically enough "C" would then jump in and help destroy "B" because again long time hatred between them. This happened many a times, and ulimately was the demise of the Indian Power in america.

The age old saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is not the best philosophy. The Native American's history is proof of that.

Around the time you sold your 3DS for an ipad and asked if Nintendo should go 3rd party.   Don't worry though.  I am nothing special and being "friends" over the internet doesn't really mean shit.  Have a few close friends because that is about all that cares about you besides perhaps your family.  I have no faith in humanity.  Anyways, you can easily dismiss me because I am fucking insane.  I am not meant for this world and my train thought isn't one to follow.  It will only lead you into depression.

Maybe it'd taken a little longer, but the difference in technology was massive. South American Natives like the Aztecs were a lot more advanced in their society and technology then North American Natives and they still had absolutely no chance. Guns, artillery, navy, professional armies, structured leadership and industrial manufacturing supporting it all; the unexpected side-effect of the European diseases just did most of the work for the colonists. The colonists were there for the land's resources, they didn't care about the indiginous people. If plague hadn't killed the Natives first, Europeans would've took whatever the area had to offer anyway.

Realistically, I'd be the same if a Warp-Drive capable Alien species decides they want to colonize Earth. Given they aren't stupid enough to not check if they'd die in our atmosphere, we'd be whiped out pretty quickly too.

@ SethNintendo: I agree the Human species doesn't add a whole lot to wellbeing of the Earth and what it has to offer. However, rest assured. Our presence here on this planet is only a tiny spec upon it's life. A fraction of a second minorly disturbing the normal flow of things. There isn't anything we can do to this planet that won't be reversed in a millenium after we're gone.

Spain mainly benefited from the Portuguese - Spanish agreement.  Spanish domination fell once the Spanish-American War.  USA kicked their ass and soon other nations realized Spain was vulnerable.  After that Spain wasn't anything.
