Looks alot like Halo, but a little different. I have no problem with the world or style. I kind of would have liked to see them try to switch from FPS.

oh it's a MMOFPS ?
See this is how much I care about this game. Due to that info I care even less.

Marathon was in fact in the same universe. you can say Halo was the remake of the serie.

Anyone remember that Huxley game that was supposed to be an MMOFPS? I was very interested in that until it just disappeared and never became anything. I do hope Bungie does well with Destiny as an MMOFPS because it sounds like a great mix of genres. As long as there are no monthly fees associated with it like a traditional MMO that is. Dedicated servers for online play would be great, as I hope all of Next Gen games start moving to that (especially Call of Duty and other FPS games).
I think Microsoft found a gem with Bungie when they were first making Halo, but since then Bungie hasn't been any miracle game maker. Destiny is probably similar to Halo because they don't want to take a risk and go into too different of a genre.
However because Bungie doesn't want to take risks, I'm not interested in this game.
That plus, they've openly admitted that Destiny will be a 10 year long franchise, and I don't want to give Destiny that much attention until it deserves it. Also Bungie isn't releasing Destiny for Wii U, and I see no reason for that. Ubisoft is so pro-multiplatform, I'll give their games a second chance, but Bungie (Not activision since Wii U gets Call of Duty games), just has an image of Nintendo..
What is with all the hate? Don't read GamrReview Articles. Contact me to ADD games to the Database

I think you guys are reading too much into the BUNGIE name, I don't see a lot of similarities personally.

If they do a smart F2P thing on PC like Planetside 2 then I might give it a go.

The open beta for Huxley was actually out on PC. At least in Korea(n).

Why did you not care much about it before you knew that? o.O |
Because we didn't really know anything about it.
There aren't many games that I'm excited about lately. Watch Dogs and GTA V for certain and maybe Remember Me and Bioshock Infinite.
Destiny is a MMO-like console shooter not an actual MMO.
