This was actually brought up by Toadslayer72 and I loved the question so i was curious as what you all would say.

Being a huge fan of The Walking Dead I would like to think I'd do the right thing but if my loved one was the first to turn i would most likely try to keep that person safe for the hope of a cure.  I cna't imagine being put into that situation though.  it's hard to tell.

That's one of those things were whatever I say now, once I was actually there I might feel differently.

I wouldn't want my wife being a zombie somewhere and I'm sure she wouldn't like to die thinking she'll become some sort of flesh-eating monster, so my inclination is to put her out of her zombie misery.

Who knows maybe they find a cure someday and they can heal her. If you can safely escape, then I see no reason to kill a person who "could" be saved.

I wouldn't lock her up in a barn or a room or something and watch over her. I would freakin leave the city or even the state so I never have to worry about colliding with her again. Then hope that someday there is a cure and that she is curable and still alive when that day comes.

A more interesting question is, if a zombie turned into your loved one, would you kill it? Like, if it was in the process of lunging for your throat but as it does so the light hits its eyes in such a way that you fall suddenly and deeply in love with it, could you defend yourself?

I know I wouldn't be able to defend myself as I have been in this situation many times before. I'm romantic that way. It mostly happens early in the morning at night clubs.
