Wii U all depends on how Nintendo acts in the next 6 months. There is certainly a huge amount of potential there, but Nintendo has talked about support in interviews with websites no one reads, but has not yet shown that they are supporting the Wii U.

This is really unpredictable for me just because there's not really any way to predict what Nintendo will do without having some sort of spy in Miyamoto/Iawata's brain stems.

Nintendo is just totally not advertising the WiiU right now on purpose or something.

I mean it makes sense cause they have no gamez.

The Vita/WiiU race isn't even a race. Not until 3rd parties make a mass migration from 3DS to Vita.

WiiU will easily lose,unless ninty pulls a rabbit out of the hat . Japan only can support vita numbers past WiiU WW, as its doing now.
Games wont help wiiu, price cut will.

Tracking lower than Vita last year. I don't think it does :/

If they cut the price too late the gap will have become too large to overcome (I'm assuming a Vita price drop in the West will follow the one in Japan soonish)

Nintendo products always do better in the holidays, and with Mario Kart, 3D Mario, price cut etc. I can see it beating the Vita by quite the margin.

They used to. We could check cumulative sales, align launches... They recently brought back a few tools (game sales, weekly concole sales) but not all of them.
