Anything can happen. Some people thought the Vita would dominate, including me, and we all know what's happening now. Of course, the PS4 probably won't suffer from any of the issues Vita has, but it could always have it's own issues or the competition could simply be too good. So again, anything can happen.

It's actually quite sad that you took my comment so seriously that you decided to prove me wrong by saying that Nintendo is beating the competition when there is no competition. Well done.

Wii U flopped and doesnt look like doing much better then GC. So unless the price difference between PS4 and 720 is $200 or more like this gen then PS4 should take top spot easly. Especially when both will launch at the same time.

As stated in the op, it's way to pre-mature. We have a lot that we need to find out. I'll start to formulate my opinions after e3, when we know more about games and price.

Specifically to Sony, there is good and bad at this stage:

Good
-PS4 will probably be a little cheaper at launch than PS3.
-It seems pretty games-focused.
-XBox is a non-factor in Japan.
-It has 8 gig of RAM.
-It may boast the best digital distribution.
-PS3 has had good late-gen momentum.
-PS3 buyers will want to continue their PS network account.
-Sony still has good brand value, and a large block of loyal core customers.
-Many Wii owners may have upgraded to PS3 late-gen.

The Bad
-WiiU launched a year earlier, in a way very much like the XBox360.
-WiiU will be cheaper.
-Most 3rd party games are now multi-platform.
-3DS is controlling Japan, which could direct those customers to WiiU.
-1st party brands somewhat weak outside of GT.
-Nintendo now offering online, HD gaming.
-Most XBox gamers will likely stick with XBox to keep their Live account.
-Insomniac has gone multi-plat.

For most gamers all that matters is games and price. Sony is in its worst place ever as far as software exclusives, with insomniac multi-plat, and most games that were former 3rd party exclusives in the past no longer exclusive. PS4 will be more competitive in price than PS3, but will probably still be at a dissadvantage against Wii U. In time we will see if multi-plats continue to be on WiiU, if Sony can offer compelling exclusive software, if Wii U can lure back customers that defected to XBox or PS3 late-gen, if XBox can build on its US momentum.

At this pre-mature stage I would say Sony is in worse situation than it was 7 years ago. However, Nintendo and MS may also be in a worse situation in their own ways, which could lead to Sony picking up market share if they do things right.

Wait for Microsoft announcement and agent that we will see who's gonna win and remember not everything about graphics

You also forgot Steambox is coming. This adds to the competition. 

*I know its hard to see but Steam is doing good as it is already especially with INDIE & Third Party software sales.

* For example TOMB RAIDER on Steam launched for  $49.99 no Tax while in Xbox 360 and PS3 is $59.99. Indie games on Steam has $5  holiday sales while it stays $10-$15 on consoles. Steam advertises it pretty well to.

And perhaps even sadder that you took MINE seriously.

I don't think Sony will ever dominate in USA again.
