HELL NO. Im playing the PS3 version and the game doesn't even touch the best on consoles such as Uncharted 3, God of War III etc.
EDIT: Then again, you're the only one in this thread that's saying this. Everyone else is completely disagreeing xD

No one is also refuting me either. You're all saying textures are better in Uncharted 3 and God of War, and I'm explaining why they're not (God of War has this plastic look to their textures due to the specular highlights that have been baked in), and Uncharted 3 for the most part just isn't textured better for most of the game (Desert sequence though its absolutely amazing though and better than anything I've seen, city is just as good but Tomb Raider doesn't have too many city scapes to compare to though). The big thing for me with Tomb Raider though is its lighting, which from what I've seen with Crysis 3, is on par with it. There's a lot of local light sources that interact with the global lighting, a lot of particles with their own light sources. Plus the jungle locations in Tomb Raider look better than anything Naughty Dog has been able to come up with, animals running around that you can kill and react to you, plenty of foliage, tree textures are amazing, rock textures are amazing, etc. Uncharted doesn't match that. Why I say Tomb Raider is better than God of War goes back to lighting, size of your play area (Which God of War has always been narrow), the overall quality of the texture work of God of War has problems for the reasons I've mentioned. Kratos looks amazing, best character model in gaming, but what about the rest of the models? The enemies? Don't really look too great from a tech perspective, they're working for polygons, even the Fury you have to fight at the beginning of the game doesn't look too hot (She's missing an arm too, such a turn off). Plus there's quite a noticeable amount of shimmering due to the the way MLAA works. Plus God of War rarely has little details in the environments other than pots for you to break for orbs. Though it can be argued that God of War looks better because of the way they abuse scale, and boy Aldro, do they abuse the hell out of it. It makes the titan fights in God of War 3 look like last gen in comparison. But the base of the game isn't really better, there's a reason why your fight areas are so narrow in God of War, saves resources for a higher framerate. There's a reason why the backgrounds are static other than when they're moving, so that all the processing can be put into moving the stages. There's mostly trade offs for everything in games, I just feel Tomb Raider sacrificed the least for its looks.
