What do you think of assassination?

Killing humans = Okay

Killing animals = Bad

Animals killing humans = Heaven

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Gotta love PETA. They gave Fable 2 an honor for being a "game which made a strong bond between a person and his pet dog", yet there was an achievement in-game for killing an innocent bunny (And you have to do it on purpose, because you need to toggle the safety off =P)

Then again, they though Mario is a serial killer because of Tanookis.

On one of the websites covering this, I also read that it rewards you for being a vegetarian... Not something I remember from the game

You could be. You were awarded with purity points in Fable 2 for not eating animal food.

But my point is, they don't give a damn if you enter the city, guns blazing and kill everyone. xD However, you just are remotely mean to an animal and fuck! PETA's on the way!

Well they just want some attention I think...

But there are other ways. I seriously thought that PETA was cool when Fable 2 was awarded with that. Honestly, it is no BAFTA, but hey, at least has a unique recognition. PETA could have been great; but they chose to be attention-whores and bashed almost everything in a videogame nowadays. Seriously, didn't these people get mad because you kill one rat during Battlefield 3's campaing?

I love how Ubi only condones drunken debauchery within the legal drinking limit.

I'm all for animal rights but PETA just makes themselves look like idiots all the time.

Nicely done Ubisoft.

Apparently PETA got all pissed off over the whaling imagry in AC4:Black Flag. Well, Ubi responded....

Ubisoft's senior PR manager, Stone Chin, addressed the game's historical context directly in an email to Polygon.

"History is our playground in Assassin's Creed," Chin said. "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is a work of fiction that depicts the real events during the golden era of pirates. We do not condone illegal whaling, just as we don't condone a pirate lifestyle of poor hygiene, plundering, hijacking ships, and over-the legal-limit drunken debauchery."

You could say he took PETA's criticism right on the chin. (best name ever)

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

This reminds me of the Modern Warfare debacle. Groups like PETA more often than not just make themselves look completely ridiculous.

I should make a game about Peta. You play the role of Peta, adopt an animal from a shelter and put it down. Over and over as you find it harder to find homes for these cats and dogs, it's just easier to murder the little guys in droves. I wonder who would protest a 85-90% kill rate of adopted shelter animals over past two decades after playing that game?
