I serious doubt it.

The mainstream may only know Thor from the Norse mythology. At best.
The reason for the greek in the first place, was the fact that it was pretty well known. All because of its big place in western history.

If you wish to choose a new settings, it would have to be known by a mainstream audience. What else is there, except christianity? They're not going to do that one...

Reboot. Never cared for Kratos, always thought he was a dull one sided character, altho Ascension seem to aim at changing that.

+ Kratos switching from killing greek gods to Norse gods would'nt make much sense, or atleast would be rly far fetched. There is only a limited number of gods Kratos can kill out of pure rage before the formula gets tired (and imo we've already reached that number).

Give us a new character with a new story. Make it less one sided than the previous ''my wife and kid got killed, I MUST KILL EVERYTHING''.

I'm sick of Kratos as a character. Especially after Ascension, they've really explored everything they can with him.

The best would be to have a new trilogy with a new protagonist and similar gameplay, set in a different mythology - like the Norse one.

I don't like Kratos at all. I really hope they make a God of War/Vengeance without him. If it does well, maybe there can be a cross over and have two copies of a similar game (like pokemon silver/gold or tekken vs sf and sf vs tekken), where they fight each other in the last battle in 10 years or so.

I think that it would be too much. I like Kratos but enough of him already. The should make a new game.

i know it's been said already but Marvel i guess you could say has there own Thor. the Viking Mythology is that of its own, and the people that still believe in it, so anyone can use thor image, but i doubt anyone can make Thor movies without a license.
