A new Wii U system update is now available for Wii U. Users can upgrade their console to version 2.1.3.

According to a notice posted on Nintendo’s official support site, the download makes “Further improvements to overall system stability.”

The page also confirms that a bigger firmware release – announced a few months back – is due out in April. It “adds new features and further improvements to the user experience”.

Pretty fast DL, less than 3 minutes for me.

Seems to be just a stability patch.

OS speed update in April then.

Once I read article, I booted up my Wii U and it immediately started DL'ing.

I updated, seems alot faster, i'll go test it out now

yep. Went to check out the store and had to update. So far.... nothing noticeable.

How much memory do you have left after these updates? I mean if you bought the cheaper box you have none, but if you bought the 32gb model you probably have like 2gbs left? Lol.

Maybe this will finally add Nintendo TVii in Europe!
