Extreme fanboyism. One faction is most notable for this.

What annoys me most on here? This ^

exactly....

Around the Network

Boring topics with massive amounts of replies.

I'm all for a third party shitting on the WiiU, these threads are a great read, but even now they are full of recycled comments. It's boring. You're boring. I'm boring.

No wonder people troll, how else can they stay interested in these conversations.

The more annoying thing here are the religiophobes and the console cultist fanboys. Especially everyone that fits in both categories, since they practice the same thing they criticize.

That and self centered fellows.

When people start or end a post with "IMO". Really dude.. I had no idea it was your opinion!?!?! Man so frustrating.

Even more annoying than that is when people shout down someone's opinion as if they stated it as a fact. It's probably why people use "IMO". SO they don't have to argue later about it just being their opinion.

This.

The lack of "no pants" time.

Around the Network

Just reading this thread and I already see what I hate most about these forums.

Each fanbase thinking they're righteously better than the other. Sony fans making sly digs at Nintendo, Nintendo fans making sly digs at the Sony fans, and Microsoft fans struggling to be noticed.

It makes me sick!

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

Two things.

The accusations of "Your favorite company copied my favorite company, and my company invented everything including electricity being used in consoles." Seriously - Grow Up!!!

Also, there are quite a few people that seem to care more about how much their shareholders stock is rising and if their executives are getting pay increases more than what they are getting in terms of gaming experiences. As a gamer, I care more about the games than the other stuff. IF I was an executive or a major shareholder, it would be different.

Well, the PR battles are mostly just funny for me on how seriously people take it when an opposing company says that their company is better than another company.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

I guess fans who follow their company of choice with a religious intensity, an unthinking obedience.

I would remind them that the altar at which they pray is a hunk of plastic beneath a television monitor.

right on the money

"We're in the business of making money" said by every company ever known

A lot of things...but its a good gaming community overall and interacting with people on here sure beats talking to my idiot friends about games.
