Hey Guys,

I wanted to make a quick poll/survey of any designers and/or programmers around here?

Under designers I mean web designers, graphic artists (textures, logo's), level designers, 3d artists, animators and so one and so forth.

Under programmers I mean  web programmers (html, php, xml, ECMAScript, sql, etc) and c++, c#, ECMAScript etc.

Myself I am a amateur c++, c#, ECMAScript, html and php programmer, as well as a amateur 3D artist,
you can see some of my 3D work at marcusstanford.com.

It's not completely up to date (I've programmed a sleeker site and have more 3D work) but I've not updated it yet due to living conditions.

So, let VGC know.

That's some nice work. I personally did some programming in the past (ecmascript, C#, html, SQL, java, ...) and fiddled around with 2D graphics.

2D, 3D artist here

I know a few programing languages. I'm also a 3D modeler. I started in life by making cgi but now I'm transitioning to real time graphics. Right now I'm writing my own graphics engine. And I design a lot.

A jack of all trades, but a master of none.

Sewer is neato. I remember playing with OpenGL one summer during college. I imagine it's easier loading objects into a world as opposed to using the lower level API to draw triangles and mapping textures onto them. NeHe was very useful in learning about movement, perspective, mapping, camera, and collision detection.

C# / ASP.NET programmer reporting with some Javscript and Oracle/SQL.

I'm a programmer. Not so much a web-programmer (although I'm able to do this), more into applications (not apps). My job is programming for a small company (~10 people, most not programmers) here in germany. I learned some different languages over the time and I'm willing to learn more.

Very cool, any random work you'd like to share? @bold: Extremely cool! I wish I was smart enough to program a true graphics engine, I'm mainly limited to gameplay programming, the most from ground up I ever got was a custom pac-man game, really should brush up again.

i wish. i may soon take a class on it.
