You should check that depression dude, its keeping you from enjoying a simple fun rollercoster of a game with a lot of replay in just having fun playing it again or maybe get a job, I mean you americans complaint about 60$ games while the rest of world pays way more.

Its 6 hours of fun, same with Vanquish, same with Bayonetta.

Im not depressed, im sorry to piss in your cherrios about mgr, idfc if its less than the rest of the world its still about all i have sometimes to spend on a game, just 2 will be $120 and thats a month of car insurance. i have to count pennies. 6 hours still suck and i dont have the time to play a game over and over again. i am no longer a child and mommy doesnt buy my games anymore.

What the fuck! I pay the same amount for car insurance and I live on a third world country, damn.

I just go check this and Kojima never said it is canon...

I believed the story was canon but seems like it's not confirmed.

 

Metal Gear wikia says that the game is canon to the series. I can't find Kojima saying that it was canon, so It was probably a dream of mine.

I don't care what Yuji Korekado or Atsushi Inaba say, only King Kojima can confirm is canon. Its like Dragon Ball GT.

Not satisfied with just Solid Snake being confirmed dead in Metal Gear Rising, Kojima promises that every major character will die in Metal Gear Rising to finally end the series from going forward any more.

 

“Solid Snake is dead. Big Boss is dead. Raiden should be dead,” he states in this week’s Famitsu magazine, “The Metal Gear canon ends here.”

I could be wrong but I don't think Kojima is confirming that MGR is canon he is saying "The Metal Gear canon ENDS HERE".

I think is like Star Trek (2009) is branched into its own universe.

I want Bladewolf playable in MGR's sequel, assuming it's going to take place in Raiden's timeline and not Gray Fox's timeline.

...not that I don't want to play as the real Gray Fox!

MGR beat Crysis 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines and Dead Space 3 first week numbers. Nothing against those games is just nice to see a hack and slash game defeating a shooter once in a while.

It is a Metal Gear game but with a different gameplay style. That's what I've saying to you since the beginning.

Had the game not had METAL GEAR in the name, it would've sold like the previous Platinum games.

Because the game goes straight were the story says. I don't know how to explain. Imagine you see three bosses, right? Well, there's three escenarios and Blam, ending. It does not fill things in order to add more longevity. It just goes wherever it wants to. xD

Lets be honest, the on;y reason MGR sold that much is because it has Metal Gear in the title.
And it's going to end hunt being the lowest selling Metal Gear game ever...
