They should put Gaikai everywhere, but keep it one generation behind. Keep PS4 games exclusive to PS4 and Vita. Charge a subscription, but give the first hour of every game out for free. They could have promotions, like free Uncharted series streaming for the month before the release of Uncharted 4 or something. There is a lot they could do with it.

yeah, but I think it will more like "Video unlimited" but with Playstation, so it would be like "PLAYSTATION UNLIMITED" you pay 1 year subscription and you can access ALL the games, as long as the subscription lasts, or maybe you could buy each game on its own.   I think it is brilliant, because if you have a great internet connection you just play from your TV, and if your internet sucks, it will entice you to buy the physical console.   One way or the other Sony wins big! XD

I think the main idea behind it is to have Sony putting a foot in all possible gaming markets tying customers to the PSN. Consoles (and PC gaming) as we know them now may disappear in the future. The challenge will be on the networks. Once one already have a PSN subscription can easily download (or stream) games from it on tablets instead than from Google Play. If streamed one just needs a tablet with low specs, all computing power will be on servers. But there is no way that PS4 games will run on tablets. Unless specifically made for them as well.

So you think Sony will shift from a console-developer to a company offering a service (PSN in this case)? Well, could happen! Perhaps not a total shift but definitely a parallel offer in the market. They could make a lot of money if they offer "old" PS1,2,3-games via Gaikai to platforms that are not made by Sony.

I would prefer Android especially if I was Sony - given that I will buy Ouya it could happen again that I pay for something Sony offers.

PSTV on any device. Play a game as quickly as you change a channel. In a nutshell that's what Gaikai will be.
