Pwahahaha, rightyo if that's how you saw reality unfolding. You compared two games of probably the most shallow genre, and then ran away when I mentioned things like SotC, Ico, Flower, Journey, Heavy Rain etc. Those games are far more involved, mature, emotionally gripping than any Nintendo game. But apparently, SSBB is the peak depth of gaming.

If you had played Metroid Prime, you wouldn't make such a claim. Are you German?

...and you're clealry taking the piss. I played it years ago, was very unimpressed (specailly as it came out at the same time as HL2 and Halo 2), and to make such a comparison means you are obviously not serious. No, I'm not German...why do you even ask?

So then did you not clarify your point when I asked? I stated that your point was ambigious and if you could clarify, but here we are...

My point was that Nintendo makes deeper games with more balanced gameplay mechanics (thus staying relevant for years after release which is a testament to substance) and I brought up SSBB vs. PSABR as an example. You then drew nonsensical comparisons between games of different genres and didn't answer my question if you are German.

Press X to Jason does not constitute mature or emotionally gripping in my book. Heavy Rain was probably the funniest game I played this generation, but not for the right reasons.

Journey and Heavy Rain are terrible examples. The former hardly has any content and both of them hardly has any gameplay, the latter being full of QTE.

I tried leaving video games for movies once. I could tell when I got there.

It is very obvious. You can use both hands for popcorn all the time, rather than just the half with the cutscenes.

It's a perfect example because he was emphasizing the mood of the game versus the gameplay. He wanted to show that Nintendo didn't have games like that (relatively speaking).

Oh, I see then. Well that is a matter of opinion to be honest and it seems that he is dissing every example.

I do agree that Heavy Rain was an incredible experiece story wise that is.

I use both hands so I finish quicker. I'm a very busy man.

I wanted my games to be great at their core, not full of distractions that covered up for an unpolished/unbalanced game. You might say that good gameplay and good graphics are not mutually exclusive and you would be right for saying this. That's why I switched to Nintendo who have the highest batting average when it comes to making games like that.

True, Nintendo has the highest batting average but the best two games of this generation in terms of core gameplay, gameplay depht, and without any distractions, are Demon and Dark Souls.

So... a PS fan almost became Nintendo leader? We need better background checks.

WHat was it meant to use besides buttons? Telepathy? Tsch, at least come up with some plausable reasons besides it not being virtual reality.
