Hmm, well idk. I don't really pay attention to the sales, only the games themselves!

Well you say in the poll "by year's end". I'm assuming it'll release at the end of november and that this is Nintendo's big holiday game. Which means it will only have 4 weeks to sell. In that time, I think 1.5-2m is fair to expect. It's no Mario (Kart), can't really compare no matter what the install base is. Lifetime however, I agree it should reach 5m. Skyward Sword did 1m first week, and 3m until year's end.

I'll vote 2m.

5m, would be more than the original A Link to the Past on the SNES, which did, from the top of my head, about 4.5m. Could mean 5m is a stretch then, especially when the general public can also look upon it as 'inferior' or 'underwhelming' to the full 3D graphics of the Ocarina of Time remake.

On the other hand, the retro-feel of the game could also ignite a New Super Mario Bros.-like effect .
