Japan Direct announced too! Shit just got real son! We may get some new reveals! Omg Hype! Plus they will be talking about the Wii U update and software releases in Japan (maybe USA and EUR will be the same?)

The Japanese direct will be dedicated to Luigi, but they'll talk about Wiiu. Maybe they'll give more info about the Luigi DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U or they'll announce a new Luigi game for Wiiu but it's very unlikely.

Yeah, hopefully they'll launch a new handheld and a new home console within 6 months of the other, and heavily integrating them with each other. Sony has done a much better job of that with PS3/4-Vita to be honest (hasn't helped Vita though). So I wouldn't be surprised if the came out with a new console in 2018/19... 2020 at the VERY latest.

So, basically, Japan`s ND is getting a Luigi centric ND while focusing on 3DS and Wii U. The rest of us are getting a ND based on 3DS... again.

I believe we are getting a Wii U related ND next week for some release dates and VC games. I also hope they announce some more games and make it clear what games we will play on Wii U during summer, at least!

Nintendo is reviving its Nintendo Game Seminar. A series of game design seminars for graduate and undergraduate university students in the Tokyo and Osaka, the last one was over thee years ago. The seminar will center around the new HTML-5 framework and how it lowers the hurdles to making games for the the Wii U.
