Nintendo lifts mature content restriction on European eShop
March 21st, 2013 Posted in 3DS eShop, News, Posted by Valay, Wii U eShop | No Comments »
In the past, European Wii U and 3DS owners could only purchase mature titles at night. There had been issues relating to German law, making it impossible to download such content during the day time.
The situation has, fortunately, since changed. Nintendo has confirmed that Wii U and 3DS users can now buy and download mature content at any time of the day.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get New Super Wario Bros. U at some point...
Nintendo put out New Super Mario Bros. U at launch, so in the long run they can't fall back on releasing a NSMB game if sales don't pick up...
Instead, what I think they might do is continually release DLC for NSMBU throughout the course of the Wii U's life...
The first DLC is New Super Luigi...
In a few months or a year from now we might get something more (ALL UNFOUNDED SPECULATION ON MY PART)...
In the long run it would possibly help the legs of NSMBU and they've already got a fantastic template for future DLC, so it's not like it would require a great number of developers...
And as long as they don't overdo it, I think fans would really appreciate Nintendo's efforts to keep an old game fresh...
Have a nice day...
