Game of thrones is on Xbox Video.  I dont know about the other two.

And yeah I suess you all are right.  It is around $3 for HD

In the US? The search didn't find it for Canada. I couldn't find other things on psn either. Also why I see no point in investing in a digital library if it's going to be spread out over different services.

Yeah Im in the U.S.  Ill check for the other things you mentioned tonight.  I need to check the PSN library as well as I dont have a comparison on the two yet.  So fare everything ive looked up is on there except for Dexter.

It wouldn't surprise me if psn has a better and cheaper library in the US too then Canada. I blame the French for that :)
I was watching Dexter on Netflix but we only got the first 3 seasons. It looks like they added upto season 6 now. I cancelled it last fall as I kept running out of bandwidth, maybe I should sign up again for a while and not download ps+ stuff. 2 seasons for the walking dead too, no game of thrones though, and movies are still a very random selection.

Considering my cable company charges $7.99 for 1 on demand HD movie, it's hard the believe how Netflix makes money from that per month.

Yeah I had netflix digital until they added the two seperate pricings for physical and digital.  I hated the digital service because of how random it is.  They do have The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad though which is good :)

Yeah ill let you know about the prices on PSN when I get the chance.

That's odd Canada and the U.S. has different pricings though.

And yeah i do physical copies on netflix for $7.99 as well.  Or Bluray is $8.99.  I actually buy all of my movies in bluray btw I'd like to ask peoples opinions on it.  Do you all notice a difference in quality very much between the two?  Like I said i just buy them because they are suppose to be better but i really dont notice it haha

We don't get Netflix physical here. Click on my comparison picks a few posts back to see the difference. That's between streaming 5mbps and blu-ray 28 mbps (not the best there is, was only a trailer).

However I use a 1080p projector and 92" screen, the difference is very clear. If you watch on a 40" or less screen, and don't have a high quality surround setup you probably won't notice the difference much. I hear the difference between lossy DD 5.1 and Dolby TrueHD too, but that's with $10K sunk into sound for a home theater setup.

Read the reviews on blu-ray.com to see if the image quality is worth it. Not all blu-rays are great, and sometimes the movie itself isn't that sharp to begin with. For example LOTR was originally made in 2K with a lot of CGI and model work, a 10mbps version would probably not look much different from the blu-ray. (I'm one of those people who watches the full 11 hour commentary on the extended cut, awesome boxset for me)

Absolute best picture quality is Baraka, mastered in 8K scanned from 65mm negative. The difference between that and LOTR is amazing.
The worst picture quality blu-ray I have is 28 days/weeks later, faithful transfer but the film was shot on dv.

Hmm that is very interesting.  I actually do have a surround sound setup and i know 7.1 sound much better than 5.1 or at least with headphones.  I was curious to what others though.  Ive been buying blu rays since i got a ps3 so i was curious lol  Just bought Fight Club on BLuray XD

And  what, you all dont have physical copies in canada? That is messed up.

Yeah I'm in the same boat.  I wanted to buy Legend of Korra, but it's only digital right now (And possibly ever).  I buy it on iTunes and I'll only be able to watch it on my PC.  I buy it on Zune, I can only watch it on my 360.  It's not on PSN.  So I either buy it, break the digital lock (Which Harper just made illegal) and put it on whatever (Like my PSP or VIta) or I just don't buy it.  Plus I was looking at overall pricing and it's cheaper to buy Blurays or DVDs.
