That's a tough one. A top five would be hard or even a top ten.

The worst part is how my favorites change depending on what I'm most into at any given time. Halo has got to be up there, but I also love all the Nintendo stuff like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, etc. This gen I've really gotten into Mass Effect and Gears of War. I've always been a big fan of Tomb Raider and MGS. Uncharted is quality too.

I'm just going to list my favs of the moment, in no order:

OMG! I almost put Panzer Dragoon on my list but decided not to since it is no a dead franchise. But it is high on my list of favorites and Panzer Dragoon Saga is my all time favorite RPG. Such a great series. It's a shame that it didn't get the attention it deserved. But we are getting Crimson Dragon which looks pretty good.

Everyone should play at least one Panzer Dragoon game. It is the will of the ancients.
