This is a good read over at neogaf, you should check it out. It's about Sony's strategy with indie games and why they didn't blow their load with all their AAA stuff in the works.

BTW, how many unannounced games does Sony World Wide have left? Like 17 or so? Did you also no that ND and guerrilla don't count under the WW umbrella?

Xbox fanboys were giving Sony shit for showing indie games.

huh? why? also i dont know many, we dont know how many of those indie games sony will publish

I really don’t think those Indie games count, maybe reso gun.

I don't know, I heard yoshida on a video talk about it, I should have saved it... and I’ve been listening to so many pod cast and videos over the last week its hard to know where to start. Maybe we can tweet him.

Besides we need to tweeter bomb his ass till he breaks down and tells us about COD servers.

if a game is published by sony then it counts. so for example helldivers counts. i wonder however, if that 20 games first year count has gotten bigger. when did sony make the deal with everybodies gone to the rapture dev? these indie games dont take that long to make and a deal could be made any minute.

What else is new? I didn't read the comments, just the first few. I can't post on gaf so i find it kind of pointless. But the OP brings up some good point, and thought it was worth sharing.

Maybe the count did go up, but there's are what counts as WWS, although the page list goes againt what i said. but yoshida said they dont count. So i dunno. So none of those indie games count, theres still a shit ton of stuff we dont know about.

if you could find that video that would be awesome.

anyways, i dont know about  a lot of these devs. i know Xdev are working on a big AAA tittle. SCE london said they want to "raise the bare visually" for the industry, so they might be working on an AAA game.

we know sony's FOUR biggest AAA games are YET to be announced and we KNOW they are being made. Sony Santa Monica's new IP is said to be done by the GoW3 team. the GoW: A team is the new team at SSM. we know that a producer from battlestar galactica has been working with SSM for 2 years now. so its a sci-fi game. and that dev that came back to SSM said what he is working on is "huge". so we can hope for an open world game maybe?

Naughty Dog well, their uncharted 3 team have been working on a game for 2 years now, uncharted 4 seems very likely at holiday 2014. 3 year dev time for an uncharted game? YES PLEASE

Guerrilla Games have openly said they are working on a new IP. Killzone 3 release early 2011 so if they split by then they would have been working on the game for 2 and a half years now and since it isnt even announced we can safely assume it will have a 3+ year dev cycle. same with most sony AAA games. (the order 3.5 years or so. Infamous almost 3 years. UC4, 3 years. SSM new IP 4 years minimum, MM 3 years+ minimum)

and last but not least Media Molecule, we knoew they been working as two teams ever since tear away was announced. and since tear away only has 15 devs or so working on it we know the majority of the devs are working on the PS4 is. considering how big LBP is im sure sony has given these guys all the money and creative freedom they want to make their new game.

so without any speculation we know that Sony has 4 huge AAA games yet to be announced. add that to killzone, drive clube, the order and infamous. the PS4 looks like it will have some seriously awesome games

guys really interesting thread on Gaf that gives really strong reasons why Nintendo has always had bad third party support. its unbelievable how bad they fucked over both consumers and devs (even more) back in the NES/SNES/N64 days

funny thing is, ever since the N64 days they have proved over and over again that they are out of touch with the industry. the Wii was a fluke, which was also a piece of tech that they didnt even develop internally. but other than the Wii they have been completely out of touch with what the industry wants.

also if nintendo lead the industry you can say bye bye to technological advancments. they very much proved that they would screw over the consumers and devs for them to have control. the WiiU proves the same with the lack of blueray (really?!) ever since sony entered the market, other than motion controlls and the casual market (which they lost), nintendo have been followers in every form or way. whether its how to deal with third parties or make systems. heck, even microsoft lead more stuff in the gaming market than them since they entered.
