Why isn't there already a hype thread after the stream?

After seeing this my opinion changed from cautiously critical to OMG WHY DOES A DAY HAVE TO HAVE 24H?
So yeah I'm in hype mode now and contrary to my previous opinion this game could be slightly better than Infamous 2. If they give me electric and paper power I will love them forever.

Hehe, there will no doubt be a thread when we draw closer to release. A week out would be appropriate. Maybe if they release another trailer

But people need to know about all the interesting stuff the devs revealed today during the stream. Like the stuff about the swimming, Zeke and Cole, the coffee shops, Cole McG's Electronics store and more about the gameplay and powers.

Not to mention the audio effect when drawing power :o

I didn't watch the whole stream, what did they say about those things?

A few things I remember,

He wouldn't answer whether Cole is in the game or not (I'm assuming this means yes)

Zeke plays a role in this game, I believe he said 'His story isn't over' or something along those lines (He also said that Zeke's voice is used on the voicemail system at Sucker Punch studios).

Cole McG's electronics store is simply a shout out to Cole McGrath

He also wouldn't answer whether you can reach Sucker Punch studios in-game (He mentioned something about being worried that they'd have lines of people at their front doors...not that it matters, pretty sure Sucker Punch Productions is on mapquest).

Also, all the NPC civilians, are scanned from actual residents of Seattle, they had a casting call basically and scanned tons of people.

^Then there's the thing about there being more than 2 new powers. Lots of good stuff

I wonder if Jack left due to bad NPD results?

From what I'm reading it's due to he and Sony not being able to renegotiate his contract.

Atually they did make it pretty clear that Cole is dead. That he has become an important historic figure like Che Guevara. I might've heard wrong but I think they said that the game was 15(or 50) years into the future.

He probably left because of his long time sweetheart Amy Henning leaving.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Well they said he was like Che Guevara yes, however he wouldn't answer whether Cole was or wasn't in the game.  That could mean some kind of flashback scenario, and there's absolutely no way Cole's dead...otherwise well...yeah, Infamous 1 (without going into spoilers for those who haven't played it)??

RIP Jack
