I'm not 100% sure but I think it's not. The game looks sweet though, watched a couple of streams today, thinking about grabing it myself.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

4 ≈ One

Just got my PS4, or I got it on Feb 26. I am living in Japan, which is why I was a bit late to the party...
Of course, getting a Japanese PS4 means getting Knack for free, and I have been playing for a little bit, just reached chapter 6. I want to know, why is this game getting so much hate? I have read some reviews, although not many, and I see that one of them (GamesRadar) gives it minus points because of the forgettable characters and story.

Well, having lived in Japan for 3 and a half years and being able to play this game in Japanese, I am starting to feel that the story and characters were actually created for the Japanese language and culture. There are no cringe worthy one-liners, and everything in the story is explained very well. I am actually very much interested in the story and the characters. For me (in Japanese) it works very well.

Do any other people here live in Japan, speak Japanese/read, and played Knack? If so, do you agree with me? Do you think that the story and characters lost their charm in the localization process, or if it is the other way around, do you think the game benefitted from being translated into Japanese?

Thoughts.

I wouldn't know anything about that. I am working my ass of for 12+ hours a day and when the weekend comes I just want to stay home and chill. No time to go to the stores and check. But if I go out this weekend, I can do some checks, but really, there are way too many stores to check out.

edit: I think it is widely in stock btw. Even though I wish that was not the case...

How about some thoughts on Knack? ;)
