3DS is doing absolutely horrible for being the portable market leader. Japan alone is carrying the system. Pokemon is needed ASAP. What are the odds of Nintendo pushing up the release date?

Vita is selling horribly across all regions. America sales are at doom-levels. At least it managed to outsell the Wii U in Japan.

Wii U is selling HORRIBLY. Whatever hype it had at launch is completely gone. Sales will only get worse as the mainstream is aware of PS4 and the next Xbox.

PS3 is selling bad for its 7th year on the market, but on the plu side its outselling the 360 by a good amount each week.

NEXT-GEN CANT' GET HERE SOON ENOUGH.

That's not really that good though still terrible sales even if it gets above Wii U.

Vita should do alot better this month, price cut, Vita has numerous titles coming. Soul sacrifice scored high on Famitsu. Pokemon wont be pushed up. Its already releasing WW which never happened before let alone the same year. I kno they wont do it but a price cut for $150 and $180 (XL) should help a little. Vita not getting a price cut in NoA isn't looking good at all. Wii U SUCKS in terms of software cuz well... THERE'S NO SOFTWARE! Oh well...

X360 beats the PS3 in software sales this week, and is on it is way to beat the DS LTD software sales.

I'm very skeptical on what kind of impact the Vita price cute will bring. I have no idea what Vita sales will look like next week in Japan. 15? 20? 40!? At this point I have no idea what kind of demand there is for Vita.

Yea its kinda uncertain, Vita's future in Japan can be determine by April though. Depending on how many units sell the month of March with lots of releases. Europe seems to have the best deals at the moment for Vita. But NoA is still in trouble. The PS4 Vita controller is a nice feat but will it push Vita in higher numbers? I kno people were saying Monster Hunter but it looks like it'll only be on 3DS this year. Capcom could of helped Sony big time but I guess they dont care.

You can't compare, DS software were massively downloaded illegaly (more than 360 software)

Yes you can, I just did.  And X360 software sales don't include XBLA..

Sony winning again.
Hopefully VGchartz will directly update the 360 numbers and add 2 million even after the PS3 outsold the 360 again ;)
Its weird how don't get closer with outselling the competition*g*

DS: 501,403
YTD: 3,328,864

PSP: 210,149
YTD: 1,448,579

YTD: 1,587,972

Vita: 25,236
YTD: 267,146

Threw in the Vita just for completeness.

The 3DS is nowhere close to the pace of the DS, and has even begun falling below the PSP.  If you remove the first week of the year (where the 3DS had a 200k lead on the PSP), the PSP is leading for the year.  We could potentially have a situation at some point this year where the 3DS and Vita combined are less than the PSP alone at the same period in 2007.

The bigger issue is that VGC didn't track quite a few older games.  The DS has shipped 930.55 million units of software.  It is probably at least 100 million undertracked.
