The 3DS is nowhere close to the pace of the DS, and has even begun falling below the PSP. If you remove the first week of the year (where the 3DS had a 200k lead on the PSP), the PSP is leading for the year. We could potentially have a situation at some point this year where the 3DS and Vita combined are less than the PSP alone at the same period in 2007.

The bigger issue is that VGC didn't track quite a few older games. The DS has shipped 930.55 million units of software. It is probably at least 100 million undertracked.
