I want to see it happen, an actually amazing new 3D sonic game from sega that offers a new experince and keeping to the sonic lore/and art style (unlike sonic 06). I guess the part of me that goes back to having a genises years ago and playing sonic the hedgehog kinda makes me want to see a sonic game thats gets a respectfull amount of praise and sales and ratings.

what do you think? Is it possible for a new sonic game to reach a very popular level and sell 10 mil +?

If sega announced a new 3D sonic adventure tomorow, would you be intrested in it?

Note: I am not a sonic fanboy, would just like to see a return of him that actually does well in sales and ratings and gets people hyped for the blue hedgehog as some of the latest games have been lacking. I want a new sonic game that will make me go wow!

No... Lets Sonic die with dignity.. he deserves it  just make more 2D games.. and make them better then Episode 1 and 2.. they should do that first.. Sega has proven time after time they can't recreate the magical sonic high speed platforming in 3D.. I don't think any developer has made a good high speed 3d platformer..

I thought colors and generations were pretty good. As well as the daytime levels of unleashed. But I like both 2D and 3D Sonic.

For that to happen, they need to go back to the original Sonic universe defined in the early games and the saturday morning cartoon if they want it to have some kind of decency.

They should also imagine themselves making the game to sell Saturn systems, and use much of the concepts from sonic Xtreme. Soundtrack should be similar to Sonic CD.

10 million is technically possible for a Sonic game. The thing is it needs about 10 consecutive years of top notch quality Sonic games being being put out in both 2D and 3D. It needs to be Mario level quality and to never drop below a metacritic score of 85. However, Sonic is still a powerful name and if Sega keeps increasing its quality of the games like with Colors and generations, Sonic will become......Relevant again, to say the least.
