Not at all. Especially since MS repairs them for free. Idk why people think this adds to the shipped total.

Providing they broke within 3 years, like I said i have had 3, so you can take 2 off of the total for starters...

If you're out of warranty then each new repair gets you another warranty. There's simply no way that in 7 years on the market, you were forced to go out and buy 2 new consoles from stores. Now, maybe you just love the 360 so much that you chose to do that. Doesn't make your case the norm though.

When I went to school 2 *3 = 6 < 7

Not to mention the 2 that were fixed within warranty.
So yes I have gone through 3, well the third one is still working

And while MS MAY have NA next gen, Sony will most likely retain EU and definitely Japan. Considering they are launching at the same time, the gap in NA better be HUGE if MS wants to be #1.

They didn't repair mine. It destroyed my Game Discs. I seriously never touched the console while playing but Microsoft said the games broke because I would be moving the damn console. I called the customer support numerous times but they never wanted to repair the box. I bought a new one which died on RROD, that one was repaired without a problem. But yeah, I bought two Xbox 360, no kidding. 

But to be fair, I also bought three PS3, because I wanted to have all of them. (fat, slim, super slim) So after all, I don't think replacement units or consoles for collectors do change that much for the overall numbers. There will always be some people who buy multiple consoles, for whatever reason. It's not a phenomenon that concentrates on one single manufacturer. 

This is true, Americans have no loyalty to a company. They will jump ship as soon as it turns crap. Like they did with Sony in the beginning of this generation

They should be worried. They had a headstart, and still managed to let Sony ship more consoles worlwide and close the gap. I'm sorry, but i don't believe either Halo or Gears will be enough. Microsoft had a great headstart this generation only because they gave their consumers games. Sony lost a lot of its fanbase because of the fuck ups by them at the start. As they got their shit together and as they've been showing each and every year that they care about the games, while the 360 has tried to shift into something else. Slowly that fanbase has been returning, and thats how they caught up.

Its only a matter of time before people wake up. Live is a rip off, you pay them all this money and they can't even so much as give you access to all betas free, decent discounts, or even free games. Sony does this every month, and these aren't some crap games that noone cares about like that Happy wars crap Microsoft gave away for free these are quality games. Its only a matter of time before the people start seeing this and shift back to Sony's party.
