This is true, Americans have no loyalty to a company. They will jump ship as soon as it turns crap. Like they did with Sony in the beginning of this generation
They should be worried. They had a headstart, and still managed to let Sony ship more consoles worlwide and close the gap. I'm sorry, but i don't believe either Halo or Gears will be enough. Microsoft had a great headstart this generation only because they gave their consumers games. Sony lost a lot of its fanbase because of the fuck ups by them at the start. As they got their shit together and as they've been showing each and every year that they care about the games, while the 360 has tried to shift into something else. Slowly that fanbase has been returning, and thats how they caught up.
Its only a matter of time before people wake up. Live is a rip off, you pay them all this money and they can't even so much as give you access to all betas free, decent discounts, or even free games. Sony does this every month, and these aren't some crap games that noone cares about like that Happy wars crap Microsoft gave away for free these are quality games. Its only a matter of time before the people start seeing this and shift back to Sony's party.
