I have to say I have heard good things and I will be getting this one day. Glad to see this game doing well critically. Now to see what ND and UC have in response.

Hey Everyone,

I got an early press release of Tomb Raider. I wanted to show the first hour of the game to help you decide if the game is right for you.

Let me know your thoughts

EDIT: Watched the first part, and it totally sold the game for me!! Great stuff man!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I'm not interested after reading the reviews. Way too much focus on combat with exploration and puzzles moved to the sideline.

Hear, hear - they totally ruined IP with this game. "I hate tombs"...really?! Lara saying that in Tomb Raider game?!? I don't give a crap about "growth of her character" (she was just fine as she was in original) by making her crying psycho killer, and ditching exploration and puzzles to focus on combat.

I've never actually been interested in a Tomb Raider game too much before this one, I admit. Doubt I'll get it right away, but I'd definitely like to purchase it at some point once my backlog's shrunk down a bit.

It clearly borrowed things from Uncharted and this is the main selling point to me. It also adds more freedom and puzzles, which is great.

The only negative aspect I saw is that the Lara in the cinematics is so fragile, shows emotions and is more "human" (which is great), but on the other hand the gameplay allows to be a brutal killer machine.

I mean the combat has to be fun, but those finishers and kills I saw seem a little too brutal and inappropriate for a Tomb Raider game to me.

The multiplayer is ignorable as it can be.

Overall I'm very excited for this game and have already pre-ordered.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

It's obvious this game has borrowed heavily from UC, but it really does look like a good game! I hope they continued to evolve this reboot, moving it further away from UC, and finding its own way. I could see the sequel getting a bit more like the original games...

After I watched the 11 minutes gameplay video I wasn't expecting less.

Tomb Raider will be huge! Gameplay looks amazing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGPG_vrje4A

Copy/Paste from Uncharted,!!!!!!!!!!! watch the IGN review and see how they stole most of things from uncharted

So what? Every game is a copy of another game. If you liked Uncharted you will like Tomb Raider.

Don't be stupid, if I like Uncharted gameplay, then I will only like Uncharted. Games with similar gameplay just won't be my cup of tea

As for the critcisms of too much combat, the reviews that I have read don't agree on this matter. Some say that the combat feels like survival, not combat, whereas others say that there is far too much combat and it takes away from the emotion of the game and turns Lara into a killing machine (ala Nate). I don't really know who to believe though

I think I will buy it, but I am still busy with Ni No Kuni and Far Cry 3, then Sim City! So maybe later in the year when I have space
