I know right?  I guess the only suspense is if it will pass it by the time the PS4 and/or Nextbox are out.  Also will Xbox pass it during it during the holidays if it does close the gap before then?  These are the only real questions left.

Wow, so Sony managed to reduce the "headstart" of x360, which resulted in a diff of ~6.7 million sold, to 1.3 million in about 5 - 6 years. Impressive.

It is kind of irrelevant. By now, so many people have bought multiple consoles for various reasons and many have just stopped using their consoles all together

The real thing that matters is software sales and money made, which M$ wins by far

This gen can count as nothing but an M$ win given last gen

Games are undertraacked, PS3 hardware is undertracked. 360 is fine. Nothing to adjust there. Gimme a break.

Nintendo are off having their own fight. By the end of the generation PS3+360 = PS2 + Xbox roughly
