Yes it's very annoying, it's like their constantly trying to justify spending $1000 bucks to play the same games everyone else plays with a few more bells and whistles.

I'm pretty sure actual PC gamers don't give a shit and are happy about the PS4 and Nextbox because the 360 and PS3 games have been slowing down the graphics advancements on PC rigs for years now.

well as a fan of both. no! but the thing that makes it a pointless comparison is that we know consoles will always be behind PC, so instead, of asking are we annoyed by the comparisons.

the real question is, why compare them, when we know 2 things. 1 it's early in the consoles life cycle, and we don't have anything to compare to PC. 2. why compare when we know consoles will never average the power of PC, cause a consoles are suppose to be cheaper then PC so. not only will PC be more powerful and show better graphic's for yr.'s to come. but the PC's graphic's consoles are being compared to, adds up to 3 to 5 times the cost of said PC's, so console gamers come out on top in the end.

No, because it is true. PC's have been running DX11 for years and the GTX 680 has been out for a while. However, a console will cost far less (hopefully) so that makes up for it all.

Nah. If there's one thing I learned from the Xbox vs. PS3 exclusives debates, it's that every single Playstation owner already owns a high-end PC. No reason to be jealous if you already own the competition.

Why be annoyed?  Like it or not the PS4 is a mid range pc with a ps4 moniker glued to it.  Sony has done a complete 180 degree turn.  They've basically admitted, without saying, The cell processor was a mistske.  They dumped plans to use an updated more powerful CELL to do what?  PS3 fans were quick to point out the xbox 360 was more like a PC then their unique Cell brained PS3 console and now Sony is pulling a MS? 

Why?  Cuz Sony is in big trouble financially and are now going to bend over backwards for a system that easy to games for.. They shouldve done that last generation.

To make matter worse VGleaks has word that a new premium service will replace PSN.. Which likely means it will no longer be free...

No, they don't use personal computers to make PS4 games or any game for that matter.

First off the PS4 is a PC in a console case.. They are not using high end parts or the PS4 would launch at 1000 dollars instead of 400/450 for the entry level and 500/ 550 premium.. They are using mid range parts.. anyone who understands pc architecture knows a high end pc will look amd run better...Essentiallynsony is admitting the Cell proessor was a mistake,  they abandoned plans to use an updated Cell in the PS4... And now Sony fans can eat crow.. Last gen all you heard was 'Xbox is basically a PC' .. sony seems to have changed its tune after announcing in late 2012 that its lost nearly 6 Billion dollars and has had FOUR straight years of losses... Most Sony fans look at comsole numbers sold without realising just how much Sony has lost on the PS3.. The PS2 grew Sony to new heights.. The ps3 has even caused Sony to sell assets to raise cash to make this console happen..

just go read articles on the PS4.. You'll see in FACT the ps4 uses an X86 cpu!  What does X86 mean?  The x is a variable number that represent the evolution of Personal Computer (PC) Cpu's..... In example 15 years ago they might went from a 386.. To. 486.. Eventually they began putting an X where the first number went..

The PS4 uses an AMD x86 processor for the CPU.. Ive been using AMD ( advanced micro devices ) in my windows PC for over 10 years since Amd came out with the AMD athlon... 

Anyone who doubts the ps4 is now using a PC cpu please go look up a PC at best buy .. Choose amd processor and look up archictecture... Further more the xbox will be using pretty close the the same GPU as the PS4- even made by the same company .. An ATI processor, which was bought out years ago by who....?  AMD

The way I'm seeing it is that more pc gamers are annoyed that the gap has drastically closed between pc gaming and console gaming. I'll go as far as to say that the PS4 is going to give a better gaming experience than PC.

It could also be a case that the PS4 is more powerful than what most pc gamers have at home.
